We live in a generation where there are irresponsible believers who go from Church to Church seeking for who to pray for them. There are plenty of prayer houses in every corner of our environment. People feeling up these prayer houses seeking prohecies, visions, miracles etc. Once they hear that a particular man can see, they will troop in in their big number. This is not disputing the place of prophecy, but there is an alarm ringing in the christaindom for a wake up. This is becoming a big issue in the body of Christ. Mostimes when those prohecies dont come to pass, they tend to pick up a fight with the man of God, forgetting that there is a part they have to play for prophecy to come to pass. It's a time of development before the hatching season.   The incubation time or season is a very important season in the life of every individual with the thirst to succeed. It is a time when one is being worked upon. Excesses are removed and tangible values added.This season when jumped always has its consequences.      In a world of constant chaos and distruption, there seem to be  an absence of light at the end of the tunnel. It looks like there is darkness looming around and you cry and wet your pillow all night, staying awake and thinking of what will be the way out. It seems like nothing is moving anymore and you become hopeless and despondent. But somehow, a quick notice comes your way saying "there is hope". In my experience in life, I've come to realize that the absence of self-confidence can rob you of very important opportunies. Therefore, my quest to have a balanced understanding of what self-confidence is all about began. Philippians 4:19 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This scripture served as an eye-opener to me and made me brace up to opportunities with boldness, because I've been made to know by my heavenly Father that I can accomplish anything through His strength. This is why I defined confidence as the ability or the strong knowing within that you are capable of doing or carrying out a task. The absence of this trait "confidence" is timidity. Humility is the state of mind. When it takes place in you, it transcends from the inward to your outward disposition in life. According to the dictionary, it can be defined as the quality or condition of being humble, modest in opinion, or estimate of one’s own importance, rank, status etc. The origin of humility: it originated from the Latin word humilitas. The synonyms are lowliness, meekness, submissiveness. The antonym: PRIDE. Today in our society, humility has turned around to be a virtue that seem to have been outdated. People no longer visualize it as a virtue which must be inculcated into our life style. It's now seen as a thing observed by the low class. The mind has a  capacity large enough to accommodate anything thrown into it. The state of your mind is determined by what you feed it with. If you feed it with garbage it will give back garbage, but when the mind is fed with the right contents, it exudes positive vibes.    For the mind to be robust,one needs to feed it with the right things. The mind is not supposed to be blank or idle. If one does not intentionally feed the mind with viable things, automatically the negative things will have no option than to fill in the mind.
