 What happens if you experience a major upset in your life?  What happens when it looks like all hope is lost? Do you just snap into worry and become too anxious? Now know this,  research has it that there are biological process that occurs when you worry?  This process tend to make your body go into action by sending out various hormones and other harmful substances into your body in response to the truama or upset that took place.  This actually makes the worry "burn" itself into the brain.  It really becomes attached and your brain's physical state changes. This can actually alter your brain's chemistry and cause a shrinkage in the brain. Worry has never been the solution to anything, rather it worsens the situation by suffocating you with feelings of fear and anxiety.  I am one who has been through the storms of life yet by God's grace I don't look like what I've been through, not because I'm strong or smart NO, rather because I allowed Jesus walk me through it. Storms of life can happen to anyone whether great or small, old or young. Anyone can experience a storm. Storms vary for different persons. It can come to one as delay in childbirth, it can come to another as financial constraints, it can also come as academic set back etc.  As one who has been through tough times, I've drawn certain salient lessons from my journey so far. While we celebrate the international women's day, it is very important we look closely at what God has to say concerning the woman folk. The plans of God for every woman is not for her to be a second fiddle or a second class being. We live in a world where women are almost sent into obscurity because they are seen as the "weaker vessel". The woman created by God out of the ribs of a man has been laced with so much strength that has been left untapped by her. Satan being aware of her strength has sold so much lies to her which has made her look down on her worth.   Pain is an emotional feeling that comes from a displeasing situation. Most times, It can come when we are unaware and it can come when we intentionally bring it upon ourselves. There are certain factors that can bring pain upon us. These factors when set in motion bring about displeasure. As humans, we are imperfect and this is why we make mistakes. Mistakes are actions we take unintentionally. They are not  things we planned for. And one thing about it is that every mistake comes with it's pain and consequences. Although some are grievous, while some are mild. But we will be looking at the pain that comes from our mistakes. Most times, the mistake people make are actions they took out of the hardness of their heart.  They receive warnings and when they don't heed, they hit the rock and face the consequence.  Pain is one thing humans don't like, they cringes at the sight of it coming. Nobody likes pain. It is not a palatable experience. Everybody in  one way or the other has gone through pain. Nobody goes through pain and feels naturally happy over it except one decides to be become happy despite the odds. One thing we should learn to come in terms with is, pain don't come to break us rather it comes to make us. Most times, God allows tough times our way so as to strengthen us for the place He has prepared for us. When God sees we're too soft for a particular assignment,  He uses pain to toughen and refine us so that His plans and purpose can be achieved. Pain is a part of life. And should be treated as such. Regret comes with a very depressing feeling. Everybody has one way or the other walk the path of regret and you feel like you should have done something more differently. This feeling can come to a person no matter what stage of life the person is. Regret destabilizes a person and remember no destabilized person can make any meaningful impact. This is why it should be avoided by all means possible. Satan our adversary will always want to capitalize on this so as to afflict torments on his victim. He'll make you feel like all hope is lost and nothing can be done again, which can result in the feelings of worthlessness. He sells a lie that IT IS TOO LATE. But, the good thing here is that in this kingdom, anything can be redeemed and achieved through Christ. With God nothing is impossible.
