Weakness for a cover
In every relationship, I think from my little experience and from what I've seen, that God brings together two imperfect persons together to help perfect their weakness through His strength.
God does not author confusion in whatever He does. Anything He steps in to do, just be rest assured it will come out fine.
When it comes to compatibility,God still remains the perfect match maker.
God created man to have same character but different personalities. Reason is that God loves variety. He delights in our uniqueness.
The Bible did not talk much on personality but it dwelled more on character. He expects that as His child, you're loyal, faithful, truthful,kind,etc.
There is a universal character display expected of every child of God. But when it comes to personality, it comes with difference because it was made to be so by God.
Everybody have their own personality differences.
There is a difference between character and personality. Character is the picture of the inward person. It is what defines who you really are. This is what speaks the content of your heart.
We were made to understand that man is a spirit, soul and body. Therefore it means that man is a tripatite being. And that since man has a triune nature like God we are bound to display our make up as man.
God made man in his own image and likeness therefore it is expected of us to have the same nature of God. That is why I said it is expected of us to have a universal character. Example as a child of God, it is expected of you to forgive your defaulters. This is not a character traits expected from a particular set of persons. It is what is expected of every one who has the intention to make heaven.
Now let's move to personality. Personality talks about what makes you different from the next person. It is what brings out the uniqueness in a man. There are four personality, they are: the Sanguine, the phlegmatic, the choleric and the melancholy.
All these make up the personality of every individual.
Variety they say is the spice of life. With this variety in each person, life is spiced up. But know that there is the place of the Holy Spirit to bring about balance in the personality of every individual. The Holy Spirit tends to tame and add beauty to each person's personality if the the person sole wish.
The presence of personality alone fails to tell us sufficiently about the inward man so as to make a very informed decision.
The knowledge of this will help you be more relaxed without pretence and seek for the help of the Holy Spirit to help your weaknesses.
It is the differences in our personality that brings about an attraction in a relationship.
In order to live peaceably with different people who have their different personalities, you have to make some compromise. You need to learn to leave room for each person to be human and keep a large heart to forgive even in advance knowing the fact that we are humans.
Your ability to tolerate one another will help you have a mind void of offence each time it arises.
Make some adjustments to accommodate others it is very necessary. So that there will be peaceful cohabitation.
